The Long Road to Inclusion – Scholarships for teachers and school staff at the Jane Addams School, Berlin

A project in cooperation with the Jane Addams School in Berlin The European Erasmus + program promotes cross-border education and training in various educational fields. In addition to vocational training (apprentices / trainers), the program also supports teachers and educational staff from general education and pre-school institutions.

The topic of inclusion is currently up to date in the field of vocational training. How does the school manage to integrate people with special needs into school operations? What special measures are required and how do schools in other countries actually do it?

As a first step in answering this question, the school would like to give 10 colleagues the opportunity to travel to Northern Ireland (UK) to see innovative approaches and so-called “lighthouse projects”.
